Dallas digital cinema colorist Omar Godinez began his career as a DaVinci artist in 1984. He built a solid reputation color grading national and regional commercials. Clients include Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi, McDonalds, Ford, KFC, Pizza Hut, Methodist Health System, Chili's, TGI Friday's, Frito-Lay, Home Depot, Walmart and many more.
In 2005, Omar fulfilled his dream of owning his own shop. He opened Colour Cafe in Austin, TX. He focused on documentaries, features and shorts. He was the first professional independent colorist in Texas to offer non-linear file-based color grading. Recognized as a hotbed for HD indie-filmmaking, Austin was the perfect market to start his business.

Omar grades HD to 5K formats using unlimited layers of Power Windows with 3D Auto Tracking, Precise Color Isolation, Noise Reduction and Image Stabilization, all in real-time. His suite is equipped with state-of-the-art video scopes and video monitoring to ensure accurate color reproduction.
